Gregorian Calendar vs Iranian Solar Hijri Calendar

There I was, minding my own business and looking up the days of the week, when I came across the Iranian Solar Hijri Calendar. It is also called the Shamsi Hijri Calendar. Instead of months like the traditional Gregorian calendar you and I are used to, it is decided by astronomical calculation for the Iran Standard Time meridian (52.5° E; UTC+03:30). Each period corresponds to a zodiac sign, with the New Year (Nowruz) always falling on the vernal equinox.

For example, January 26, 2019, is written as 6 Bahman 1397 SH. Additionally, the week starts on a Saturday and ends on a Friday.
