Saint-Valentin: La Fête Des Amoureux. Listen to this playlist, and enjoy the evening with your significant other!

All of this language learning has given me the travel bug again. I’ve put together a nice little playlist to get rev your travel engines! It also makes a great Thursday evening, tapas-and-vino soirée soundtrack.

Happy Summer Solstice! Let’s celebrate the occasion with some music. Don’t forget to share the love! xo

Here in California, we are having a bit of a downpour to kick off the vernal equinox. For us at home, it means champagne, a cheese plate, and plenty of conversation. Spring cleaning? No, thank you. Pass the manchego and jamón Iberico s.v.p.

I’m here, but I’m not really here. I chose this borough or arrondissement due to its proximity to the Père Lachaise Cemetary. Yes, it’s a bit away from the postcard Paris, but that’s exactly why you need to be here.

Here’s to the start of this beautiful autumn season!

For those who were unaware, a few weeks ago I got sick from eating bad chile verde. The last two weeks I have been trying to just get to my old self again and for better or for worse, have avoided takeout. My wallet is happy for sure!

Dép, bixi, métro.  Montrealer (montréalais) basics. Criss! Ciboire! Oups! Time to wash la bouche out with savon! Rosemont-La Petite Patrie represent, represent! Pieces of my heart can be found along Rue de Bellechasse. Montréal, you left me speechless. Un plaisir à vivre! This Montréal playlist was inspired by the beautiful autumn colors, fast-talking unintelligible québécois,  foie gras laced poutine and the best piri-piri chicken EVER. Écoutez et partagez SVP.

Funky, eclectic, rebellious, and unapologetic, Rotterdam is unlike any other place in the Netherlands and that’s a good thing. Boasting the elements of a concrete jungle, Rotterdam’s resiliency is majestically displayed with an iconic and modern skyline. Art, culture, architecture, and cube houses, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The playlist created for Rotterdam has a little bit of everything. It is the best way to pay homage to this lovely port city. Enjoy and please share!

The windmills are calling and the alluring smell of chocolate leads you to local chocolatiers. Thirsty? There’s plenty of sinaasappelsap (orange juice) to go around. This playlist was inspired by my day trip to Zaanse Schans. Please enjoy it and share!
