I spent only a few hours here, but made the best of the situation by hiring a taxi tour guide who took me and a friend to Puerto Plata. Don't stay in Amber Cove; you'll miss all the fun! I have to come back to experience the nightlife fully.
Hell, I need to come back to fully experience the D.R. If you have time, go to the rum and chocolate factories and bathe in those Caribbean waters. Mas Macorix por favor!
