Persian (Fārsī) – YouTube Channels

Here are my top five YouTube channels for learning Persian (Fārsī) :

I love their videos because I can also learn a lot about Persian culture. Check out this video on Norwuz (Persian New Year). It will fall on Thursday, March 21st this year.

نوروز مبارک.

Nowruz Mōbarak (literally, “Blessed New Year”) is the traditional holiday greeting.

I have their Learn Farsi in 100 Days: The Ultimate Crash Course to Learning Farsi Fast along with the workbook.

Eko Languages also has other ‘8 Hour’ languages, so it looks like I’ll be going back for Russian, Italian, and yes even French.

If you’ve been learning languages online for a while, you’ve probably heard of Innovative Language. Aside from their YouTube channel, they have a site with more resources and an app.

  • Talk Like A Persian – I’m not sure if they are still updating the channel with new content, but what’s available is useful.

I like this channel because it gives you a little bit of everything. It can cover simple topics such as numbers and the alphabet all the way to beginning conversational skills.
