DAY 1: 31 Day Aspiring Polyglot Challenge – Learning Persian (Fārsī)
“Beauty surrounds us, but usually we need to be walking in a garden to know it.”
Rumi
It wasn't until 3:30 PM that I actually decided on a language. I know, I KNOW. I was out until 3 AM ringing in the new year at a casino in Northern California. Did I win? Let's just say I started the New Year with a bit of a bang!
Choosing a Language
I spun a wheel because I had a few languages in mind and was so indecisive, I needed an app for that. I'm currently on the road (and still in PJ as of 7 PM) and couldn't quite get the FB Live thing going today. I wanted to show you, folks, that I was indeed doing this language learning challenge with you.

“I spun a wheel and this is the language that was chosen for me. 🙂 BUT (underlined hella times), I am a huge fan of Shahs of Sunset and have learned to appreciate Persian culture. Yes, I know it's a TV show and things are exaggerated for effect, but I want to learn more. I
I then attempted to write using the Persian script.
برنجایرانی
I'll keep working on that!
