ALLEZ ELIZABETH - Adventures through Food, Culture, and Language

The Store Est Ouvert! : Designed by Moi, Fait à Montréal

“Try to leave the Earth a better place than when you arrived.” – Sidney Sheldon

The Allez Elizabeth store is finally ouvert!

After months of contemplating where and how I would do this, it finally came together. If I didn't snap the photo, I drew it by hand.  It took a lot of restraint on my part not to want to put crazy prints on everything, because why not, right? Also, I wanted to create a collection inspired by my travels (and of course places I have yet to visit) with items seen in my packing lists: scarves, totes, and my favorite carry-on accessory, kimonos.  Lastly, I wanted to find a manufacturer that was about that ethical and sustainability life. Aside from having something I felt proud to put my name on, I wanted to make sure that the company paid their employees a fair wage and were committed to reducing their carbon footprint. Maybe the universe was trying to tell me something because I found one in the beautiful cinq cent quatorze. Yes, that magical place that swept me off my feet a few birthdays ago.

As much as I wanted to have a zillion things for every place I've been to so far, or every language I'm learning (and err hoping to learn someday), this amount felt just right. I'm already working on the next iteration, so stay tuned!  I've listed some of the collections by print below. I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I had fun putting them together.

Now if I could somehow get some poutine that would be awesome sauce.
